fiercely living in the now

We've worked super hard to fund the first documentary film about pelvic exams, focused on how students learn to do them. Hmmmm, you never thought about that did you? I guess pelvic exams aren't sexy enough, or don't have the right shag cut, or just aren't appealing enough to big funders. We recognize that it is a totally grassroots, homespun, community-supported project and that's what will get this film finished by early 2009. I've been working hard on this film for nearly 5 years. I'm ready to birth this child after a long and challenging labor. (aren't they all, no matter the length?)

Right now, we've become a finalist for the August $10,000 gift on Idea Blob. Out of a couple hundred projects, that's not bad. So we're close. It's votes only. So please, go on and help our little homespun project out. Tell your friends. It takes minutes.
